Video appointment
With our new video appointment service, on-site visits to the tax office can also be handled via the internet, regardless of location. Of course, use of this service is voluntary. Unlike a telephone call, personal information can also be provided in a video appointment. However, it is not currently possible to exchange documents in a video appointment.
General information
No special software or hardware is required to participate in the video conference. All you need is a computer (notebook or desktop) with a camera and broadband internet access. For optimal sound quality, the use of a headset is recommended. The video conference can be accessed using any current browser.
To log in to your video appointment, you need either ID Austria or the European eID.
Important: A video appointment without ID Austria or eID is not possible.
Please refer to the FAQs at the bottom of this page.
